Meet our Head coach

Justin VanBeek

Justin discovered Crossfit as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (2005-2012) and was instantly hooked. While growing up, Justin's mom introduced him to lifting and fostered in him a work ethic which would lead him to become a five time Crossfit Regional qualifier and ultimately start his own Crossfit Gym to share this passion with others.

Meet the Coaches

  • Jordo

    Jordan Coughlin

    Crossfit L1, Licensed PTA, CSCS,
    Jordan is a veteran who as been coaching for over a decade and has been at Crossfit Hydro for over 7 of those years. As a PTA, Jordan is a stickler for perfect movement and you'll find him frequenting the gym with his wife, Steph, who is also a coach at Hydro along with his two kids, Kai and Tegan.

    Crossfit L1

    Jennifer is an army veteran who also played soccer at the University of North Florida. Jen has six kids and frequents the gym with her husband, Darren and loves to show Hydro members what is possible through Crossfit.

  • Eldon Stull

    Crossfit L1, Tactical Strength and Conditioning

    Eldon is a Sergeant with the Sarpy County Sheriff's Department and has been with Hydro since it originals back in 2010. He has been coaching at Hydro for over 5 years and is also an instructor/physical fitness programmer for the Law Enforcement Academy. Eldon is married with four children.

  • Jackie Assman

    Crossfit L1, PT, DPT, M.S. in Exercise Science

    Jackie started CrossFit in 2015 when she was finishing up her B.S at UNO. Having been a high school athlete, she wanted a challenge and took the leap by joining Hydro. She loves getting to meet people where they are at on their journey to a healthier life and coaching at Hydro has allowed her to do that.

  • Erin Walsh

    Crossfit L1, Crossfit Kids, Physician Assistant

    Erin is a current orthopedic physician assistant and former high school science teacher who found CrossFit during PA school in 2014. Erin is passionate about CrossFit because it provides her an outlet for her competitive nature, but more importantly because it helps her optimize her mental health and physical wellness.

  • Kerry Soby

    CrossFit L1, Social Worker

    Kerry joined CrossFit Hydro in 2015. A life long runner, she found CrossFit as a way to challenge herself, build strength, and increase her fitness. Aside from the workouts, she fell in love with the community and her friends at the gym became her second family. Kerry is a licensed social worker, spending her days in a special education school with students with behavioral and emotional needs. Kerry is married to Peter and has two adult children, Paige and Trystan.
