    Today we honor those heros lost 19 years ago...

    2001m Row/Ski for time*
    (Every 102 seconds including the start of the workout perform 11 plate weighted step ups with a 45# plate)

    19:00 time cap...

    It was 102 minutes from the hit of the first plane to the collapse of the North tower on 9/11/2001...

    The average firefighting gear weighs 45# and the step ups represent the heroic climb first responders made to help people that day as well as the climb down people tried to make to escape the carnage that day...

    Saturday Partner Hero WOD...

    "Leath"
    4 Burpee Box Jumps (20/24")
    *Partners will have opposite sides
    9 KB Swings (26-35/44-53#)
    *Clean off KB between partners
    20 Push Ups (Scale to box)
    24 Air Squats
    (10 shared rounds for time with a 35:00 time cap)

    Partner 1 will complete the BBJ & Swings on Round 1 then both partners will share the push up and air squat reps before Partner 2 does BBJ & Swings on Rd 2... Continue this pattern throughout...

    This hero workout is dedicated to Officer Breann Leath who was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call at 1803 Edinburge Square on April 9, 2020.

    A subject inside opened fire through the apartment's closed front, striking Officer Leath and a female resident of the apartment who was standing in the outside hallway. Both were taken to a local hospital where Officer Leath succumbed to her wounds.

    Officer Leath was a veteran of the National Guard and had served with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for three years. She is survived by her 3-year-old son, her parents, who both serve with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, and two sisters who have worked in corrections.     ... See MoreSee Less
