Olympic weightlifting meet is coming in about a month so let’s practice!

 

SKILL/POWER:

We will have 1 Women’s Bar and 1 Men’s Bar serving as our main “platforms” for this one with all other barbells off to the side to be used as warm up bars…

 

Each athlete must declare what weight they want to start at on the Snatch and then on the Clean & Jerk section so we know what weights to start at and what jumps to make…

 

You will have 3 attempts on the “main platforms” in both the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk for this one…

 

We will explain all other rules during class…
